Cenovis Yeast Spread
Savoury yeast extract spread · Cenovis · Spreads & condiments
Why it's worth it
Cenovis is Switzerland's own yeast spread, developed in Rheinfelden in 1931 by a master brewer and eaten on buttered bread. It is a pure Swiss oddity with no Czech presence; try it before buying the big jar.
Taste
Dark, salty, savoury yeast spread with a beer-like undertone; Marmite-adjacent but less viscous
